À Lindvallen en Suède, Kent et Maria ont imaginé une appartement moderne de montagne avec le décorateur Geir Oterkjær de Slettvoll. Ils ont privilégié une ambiance lumineuse et graphique. Dans cet appartement familial, le couple souhaitait un style éloigné du chalet traditionnel. Le salon impressionne d’emblée avec un plafond culminant à six mètres et une large cheminée en pierre. Le canapé modulable a été placé avec une vue directe sur l'extérieur afin de profiter au mieux du paysage. Le grand tapis délimite le salon et crée un véritable îlot convivial. Au-dessus, une suspension en verre soufflé semble flotter dans l’espace. Autour de la table ronde, les chaises recouvertes de vichy apportent une note graphique. In this family apartment, the couple wanted a style that was a far cry from the traditional chalet. The living room makes an immediate impression with a six-metre-high ceiling and a large stone fireplace. The modular sofa has been positioned to offer a direct view of the outdoors, making the most of the landscape. A large rug defines the living area and creates a cosy, inviting space. Above, a blown-glass pendant light appears to float in the air. Around the round table, the Vichy-check chairs add a graphic touch. The choice may seem surprising in a mountain home, but it brings energy to the whole space. The effect remains light and elegant, far removed from the usual rustic clichés.
