Dans la vallée du Montafon en Autriche, une maison de 1836 a traversé le temps mais a changé d’allure. Devenue la Vipp Montafon Haus, elle mêle le bois ancien à lacier inoxydable. Elle bénéficie de vues alpines grand format. À Vandans, au cœur du Vorarlberg, cette maison traditionnelle est devenue la nouvelle maison d'hôtes créée par Vip. Dans ce décor de carte postale, la bâtisse de trois niveaux a gardée son allure d’origine. Les murs épais, les plafonds à caissons et le poêle central racontent la vie d’autrefois. La porte sculptée, patinée par les années, donne accès à un intérieur chaleureux et design.
Sa rénovation menée en 2020 a respecté la structure historique et les détails artisanaux. La cuisine s’organise désormais autour d’un îlot Vipp V4 en acier inoxydable massif. La table Montafoner, assemblée dans plusieurs essences, rappelle un savoir faire local rare. Les chambres baignées de lumière profitent de vues ouvertes sur les montagnes. Les petites "Seelenfenster", placées sous le plafond, ajoutent une note originale. Le sauna, tourné vers le paysage, prolonge l’expérience dans un calme absolu. Entre bois ancien et acier brossé, la maison a trouvé un équilibre juste.
In the Montafon Valley in Austria, a house built in 1836 has stood the test of time but changed its appearance. Now known as the Vipp Montafon Haus, it combines old wood with stainless steel. It enjoys panoramic Alpine views. In Vandans, in the heart of Vorarlberg, this traditional house has become the new guest house created by Vip. In this picture-postcard setting, the three-storey building has retained its original appearance. The thick walls, coffered ceilings and central stove tell the story of life in days gone by. The carved door, weathered by the years, opens onto a warm and stylish interior.
Its renovation in 2020 respected the historic structure and craftsmanship. Its kitchen is now organised around a Vipp V4 island in solid stainless steel. The Montafoner table, assembled from several types of wood, is a reminder of rare local craftsmanship. The light-filled bedrooms enjoy open views of the mountains. Small ‘Seelenfenster’ windows, placed under the ceiling, add an original touch. The sauna, facing the landscape, extends the experience in absolute calm.
