Créer une cuisine belle est un exercice subtil, surtout avec une vie familiale animée. Ce but a guidé Kate Feather Kitchens, chargé de repenser entièrement cet espace londonien. La designer Kasia Piorko a imaginé une cuisine Art Déco moderne et familiale ordonnée, agréable, où chaque fonction trouve naturellement sa place. Les rangements invisibles intégrés dans l’îlot et les colonnes centrales libèrent l’espace visuel efficacement. Ce meuble central présente une belle personnalité grâce à ses courbes douces et sa teinte bleu clair.
On y partage les repas, les discussions, les devoirs, parfois même quelques heures de télétravail. Une arche en chêne accueille réfrigérateur et congélateur dissimulés derrière un bois chaleureux. Une partie du sol est recouvert d'un carrelage coloré en contraste avec le bois clair et le blanc. Quelques objets choisis apportent une note personnelle, renforçant l’impression d’un lieu habité et vivant. Les surfaces en Caesarstone habillent plans de travail et l' îlot. In London's Notting Hill neighbourhood, a young family dreamed of a kitchen that was stylish, practical, elegant and truly designed for everyday use. Creating a beautiful kitchen is a delicate task, especially with a busy family life. This goal guided Kate Feather Kitchens, who was tasked with completely redesigning this London space. Designer Kasia Piorko imagined an orderly, pleasant Art Deco family kitchen where each function naturally finds its place. Invisible storage integrated into the island and central columns effectively frees up visual space. This central piece of furniture has a beautiful personality thanks to its soft curves and light blue hue.
It is a place for sharing meals, discussions, homework and sometimes even a few hours of teleworking. An oak arch houses the fridge and freezer, concealed behind warm wood. Part of the floor is covered with colourful tiles that contrast with the light wood and white. A few carefully chosen objects add a personal touch, reinforcing the impression of a lived-in, lively space. Caesarstone surfaces cover the worktops and island. This 4023 Topus Concrete model has a matt, urban texture, balancing white lines and rounded volumes. Also used for the splashback and shelves, it interacts beautifully with the oak grain.
