La décoration design terracotta et le bois dans cet appartement de 52m2 matchent avec les murs de briques découverts pendant sa rénovation
Qui a dit que la décoration chic et design n'était réservée qu'à des grands appartements. La designer d'intérieur Natalie Dubróvska nous prouve le contraire avec ce deux-pièces de 52m2 situé à Kiev en Ukraine, rénové avec de magnifiques matériaux, dans un esprit épuré mais très chaleureux. L'appartement situé dans un immeuble classique ukrainien construit en 1966 dans l'ex URSS, répondant au nom de "stalinka", nécessitait une profonde rénovation. En retirant les cloisons, la designer a découvert des murs en briques qui ont déterminé les coloris choisis pour l'ensemble de l'appartement. Leur couleur chaude s'assortit à une décoration design terracotta pour la chambre et la salle de bain, dynamisée par les huisseries de métal noir et le verre strié.
Dans la cuisine équipée design ouverte, les portes basses sont recouvertes de métal couleur cuivre, dont les reflets joue avec le bois de cèdre du mobilier, qu'il s'agisse des caissons hauts de la cuisine, de la table et des chaises ou encore de la grande bibliothèque du salon. Le canapé gris aux formes épurées vient assagir cette débauche de couleurs et textures chaudes. Et point d'orgue, la fourrure du chat est assortie à cette décoration design terracotta ! Who said that chic and design decoration was only reserved for spacious flats? Interior designer Natalie Dubróvska proves otherwise with this 52m2 one bedroom apartment in Kiev, Ukraine, renovated with beautiful materials and a clean but warm feel. The flat, located in a classic Ukrainian building built in 1966 in the former USSR, called "stalinka", needed a thorough renovation. When removing the walls, the designer discovered brick walls which determined the colours chosen for the whole flat.
The warm colour of the brick walls matches the terracotta decoration in the bedroom and bathroom, which is enhanced by the black metal frames and the ribbed glass. In the open-plan designer kitchen, the low doors are covered in copper-coloured metal, whose reflections play with the cedar wood of the furniture, whether it be the high cabinets in the kitchen, the table and chairs or the large bookcase in the lounge. The grey sofa with its pure forms softens this explosion of warm colours and textures. And to top it all off, the cat's fur matches! Photo: Yevhenii Avramenko
