La designer Natalia Bespalova a décoré une petite maison au bord de la Volga selon la philosophie wabi-sabi. Elle connaissait depuis longtemps le propriétaire qui souhaitait faire de ce lieu un refuge où passer la journée, se promener, mais non en faire une résidence à l'année.
Il n'était même pas nécessaire d'y prévoir une chambre. La rénovation a débuté par la mise à niveau de la toiture et de la façade, et lorsque est venu le temps de réfléchir à l'intérieur, Natalia s'est inspirée du travail d'Axel Vervoordt, un architecte d'intérieur et antiquaire belge, et par la philosophie du wabi-sabi, et la beauté que l'on peut trouver dans les choses imparfaites. La maison faite d'une seule pièce aux murs sombres ne semble pas étouffante, grâce à la grande hauteur sous plafond, est meublée simplement, et est devenue le lieu idéal pour se retrouver en pleine nature. Designer Natalia Bespalova, decorated a small house on the banks of the Volga river according to the wabi-sabi philosophy. She had known the owner for a long time, who wanted to make this place a refuge where to spend the day, take a walk, but not to make it a year-round residence.
It was not even necessary to have a bedroom. The renovation began by upgrading the roof and façade, and when it came time to think about the interior, Natalia was inspired by the work of Axel Vervoordt, a Belgian interior designer and antique dealer, and by the philosophy of wabi-sabi, and the beauty that can be found in imperfect things. The one-room house with its dark walls does not seem stifling, thanks to the high ceilings, is simply furnished, and has become the ideal place to be in the middle of nature. Photo: Artem Igonkin
